- Site Visits & Data Collection: Perform site visits and gather necessary data as directed.
- Project Estimates: Create project estimates using internal systems to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Collaboration: Work with the sales and design team to ensure production staff receive high-quality project plans, delivering results that meet customer expectations.
- Customer Meetings: Occasionally meet with customers on-site to review project specifics and ensure alignment.
- Communication: Respond promptly to communications from clients and co-workers to maintain smooth operations.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, following up with clients and co-workers to ensure high levels of satisfaction.
- Problem-Solving: Analyze horticultural and landscape problems, determining and implementing appropriate solutions.
- Proposal Creation: Provide accurate estimates and proposals to the sales team for requested projects.
- Safety: Follow company safety policies and procedures at all times.
- Renewals & Submittals: Assist the Landscape Maintenance Sales team with renewing recurring projects and support the Commercial Sales team with new project submittals.
- Indoor & Outdoor Work: Work is performed both indoors and outdoors, adapting to various environmental conditions.
- Office Conditions: Exposure to standard office conditions, including heating, air conditioning, and computer operation.
- Degree Requirements: Associate Degree in Landscape or Construction-related fields OR working towards a Bachelor's Degree in a Landscape or Construction-related field.
- Industry Experience: Previous experience in the Landscape or Construction industries is preferred.
- Customer Relations: Proven success in cultivating and managing customer relationships and providing exceptional customer service.
- Proposal & Contract Creation: Knowledge of proposal and contract creation processes.
- Technical Skills: Ability to learn new relevant computer programs and tools.
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the landscape industry is helpful.
- Design Skills: Ability to conceptualize, design, and graphically express design concepts.
- Project Management: Ability to manage and schedule workload within project timetables.
- Interpersonal Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Team Collaboration: Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment, communicating with diverse personalities and workstyles.
- Microsoft Office Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, and Access.
- Activity Levels: Regularly stands, walks, sits, talks, and listens for long periods throughout the day.
- Physical Tasks: Squats, stoops, or kneels and lifts objects from the ground.
- Lifting: Occasionally lifts weights of up to 25 pounds.
- Reaching: Occasionally required to reach above shoulders.
- Fine Motor Skills: Vision and fine motor skills are required for computer use.
- Position Type: This is a Full-time Year-Round Non Exempt position.
- Work Hours: Typical work hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm (approximately 40-50 hours per week depending on the seasonal need).
- Peak Season: Saturday and some evening work required during peak season, or as needed.
