Overview:Edgewater Federal Solutions seeks an experienced Technical Program Manager. This role will support the design and implementation of a robust security infrastructure that protects Board data and systems (both on-premises and in the cloud) from internal and external threats.This work will be conducted onsite in Washington, DC. Responsibilities:
  • Provides expert support, analysis and research into exceptionally complex problems, and processes relating to the subject matter. Serves as technical expert on executive-level project teams providing technical direction, interpretation and alternatives.
  • Applies advanced technical principles, theories, and concepts.
  • Contributes to the development of new principles and concepts.
  • Assignments are often self-initiated.
  • Determines and pursues courses of action necessary to obtain desired results.
  • Develops advanced technological ideas and guides their development into a final product.
Qualifications:
  • Must be a US citizen or GC Permanent Resident
  • Must live within a 50 mile radius of DC
  • Must be willing to work onsite in DC, M-F
  • At least seven years of experience in specified technical field, or four years of recent, demonstrated experience with specified emerging technology and four years of experience in a closely related technical field.
  • Requires eight years of analytical experience.
  • Expertise is in a particular area of Information Technology (e.g., Information Systems Architecture, Telecommunications Systems Design, Architecture, Implementation, Information Systems Integration, Software Development Methodologies, Security Engineering, Communications and Network Systems Management), or a specific functional area (e.g., finance, logistics, and operations research).
  • BA/BS or MA/MS in computer science, information systems, mathematics, relevant field, or equivalent experience required.
