Position: Employee Benefits Account Manager – InsuranceWe are seeking an experienced Employee Benefits Account Manager with a strong understanding of various carriers, quoting and proposal processes, new business onboarding, and renewals. This is a great opportunity to join a supportive and flexible work environment offering competitive compensation and benefits.Key Responsibilities:Prepare pre-renewal, renewal, and marketing reports.Compare health plan benefits and costs.Calculate employee contributions and develop contribution strategies that align with clients’ budgetary goals.Prepare annual client service plans.Gather and manage new client onboarding information.Draft correspondence, communication materials, and compliance notices as needed.Negotiate rates and benefits with carriers.Audit client information, premiums, and commission splits in the Agency Management System.Qualifications:Active Health & Life License – RequiredStrong verbal and written communication skills.Ability to support the Producer in organizing and meeting deadlines.In-depth knowledge of employee benefits and health plan implementation/administration.Familiarity with regulatory requirements, including ERISA, COBRA, HIPAA, and applicable state/federal health insurance regulations.Proven ability to negotiate rates and benefits with carriers. * Three to five years expereince preferred.If you are interested in exploring this opportunity confidentially, please send your resume to angie.overby@gpac.com or call (531) 272-8936.
