Commercial HVAC/Mechanical Project Manager

- Lead and manage commercial HVAC/mechanical projects from award to turnover.
- Coordinate directly with clients, general contractors, architects, engineers, and trade partners.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, manpower plans, and budgets.
- Oversee submittals, RFIs, change orders, and all project documentation.
- Work closely with field supervisors and foremen to ensure productivity, safety, and quality standards are met.
- Monitor project financials, identify risks, and provide solutions proactively.
- Ensure compliance with contract documents, codes, and company standards.
- Drive clear communication across internal and external project stakeholders.
- Mentor and support project engineers or assistant PMs assigned to the project.
- 5+ years of project management experience in commercial mechanical/HVAC construction.
- Strong understanding of HVAC systems: RTUs, chillers, boilers, ductwork, piping, controls.
- Proven track record managing projects ranging from mid-size commercial to large-scale institutional/industrial builds.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, specifications, and contracts.
- Proficient in project management software (Procore, MS Project, Bluebeam, or similar).
- Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
