We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead mechanical/HVAC projects in our Commercial Construction Division. This role is responsible for managing the complete lifecycle of projects—from preconstruction through closeout—ensuring delivery on time, on budget, and to the highest quality standards.Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage commercial HVAC/mechanical projects from award to turnover.
  • Coordinate directly with clients, general contractors, architects, engineers, and trade partners.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, manpower plans, and budgets.
  • Oversee submittals, RFIs, change orders, and all project documentation.
  • Work closely with field supervisors and foremen to ensure productivity, safety, and quality standards are met.
  • Monitor project financials, identify risks, and provide solutions proactively.
  • Ensure compliance with contract documents, codes, and company standards.
  • Drive clear communication across internal and external project stakeholders.
  • Mentor and support project engineers or assistant PMs assigned to the project.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of project management experience in commercial mechanical/HVAC construction.
  • Strong understanding of HVAC systems: RTUs, chillers, boilers, ductwork, piping, controls.
  • Proven track record managing projects ranging from mid-size commercial to large-scale institutional/industrial builds.
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, specifications, and contracts.
  • Proficient in project management software (Procore, MS Project, Bluebeam, or similar).
  • Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
