- Execute the business development strategy, plans, and processes to drive sales, increase revenue, expand markets, and accomplish financial objectives
- Directly collaborate with Franchise and Company Owned commercial operations to expand the suite of services across the network.
- Coaches commercial stakeholders in best practices and effective tactics for prospecting new markets, partners, channels, and customers.
- Partner with commercial operators, marketing, and product development teams to align efforts.
- Assesses metrics in relation to predefined objectives, ensuring project milestones and goals remain on schedule and within allocated budget.
- Establish and nurture strong client relationships. Present the bookkeeping value proposition and customize solutions to meet client needs (e.g., Company Owned Operations service delivery).
- Uses industry connections and client relationships to understand and respond to shifts in competition, pricing, and product demand.
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related discipline or experience.
- More than five years of experience in retail business development, including promoting and upselling a company's products or services.
- A demonstrated history of successfully driving retail organizational growth through the development and launch of new business initiatives, conceptual innovations, and program pilot, evaluation, and implementation is essential.
- Exemplary project management skills required.
- Strong change management skills
- Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills required.
- Excellent presentation skills: Ability to effectively present the company's value proposition to Commercial operations and/or potential clients.
- Sales experience: A proven track record of successfully generating leads and closing deals is highly valued.
- Business acumen: Understanding of business principles, market trends, and competitive landscape.
- Analytical: Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and develop effective strategies.
- Relationship-building: Ability to build rapport with clients and foster long-term partnerships across Commercial operations.
