DESCRIPTIONThe Ring devices team is looking for a seasoned Principal Technical Program Manager to help our multi-site hardware/software development teams deliver complex Home Security products for our customers. You will spearhead end-to-end HW/SW product development.Working closely with our global teams, you will plan and coordinate the execution of complex business needs while simultaneously keeping your team focused on meeting their commitments. You will engage with highly experienced cross-disciplinary staff to transform concepts into products. Technical Program Managers at Ring must be capable of sorting through many competing priorities, defining processes that improve execution, championing engineering best practices, executing with agility, and succeeding in a complex and fast-paced environment. You will have true ownership of the product, presenting a unique opportunity to make a direct impact on Ring products and features. Own end to end product development from concept all the way to launchCollaborate closely with Business and Engineering to properly understand the business case and technical constraintsWork with remote and multi-site teams to deliver related system software components while managing the timelines to match hardware development and launch requirementsStakeholder Management: Communicate regularly with C-suite on status, risks, and change control
Where needed, improve processes for completeness and better efficiencyDive deep into the software/hardware technical details of a productProactively solve day-to-day challenges and exercise sound judgmentA day in the life

Ring product development team is responsible for end to end Ring device development from concept to EOL.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS- 10+ years of engineering experience
- 7+ years of technical product or program management experience
- 5+ years of software development experience
- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedulesPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- 8+ years of hands-on work managing complex technology projects experience

The base pay for this position ranges from $159,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $275,300/year in our highest geographic market.
