
Interior Horticulture Manager

- Manage all interior landscape programs from installation to maintenance across Amazon's Puget Sound campus buildings including Seattle, Bellevue, Redmond, and Sumner locations
- Oversee state-of-the-art modular planted systems and all living wall systems while managing vendor relationships in collaboration with Facilities Management
- Develop and implement aesthetic and functional improvements, special installations, and displays while liaising with Amazon staff and facility managers
- Develop sustainability project goals and initiatives in collaboration with Living Systems Architect, Community Landscape Manager, and Sr. Manager of Horticulture
- Maintain relationships with Facility Managers, Property Managers, Maintenance Staff, Vendor Partners, and Landscape Contractors while serving as ambassador to employees and visitors
- Work with Back of House staff on incorporating plant material into campus spaces while supervising exterior landscape maintenance staff as needed
- Ensure quality control through Best Practices Procedures and Standards while developing mechanisms to track progress in achieving community landscape goals.
- Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience
- Minimum five years of experience in commercial interior horticulture or related field
- Experience in sustainable landscapes and techniques with large-scale urban or campus environment knowledge
- Landscape management experience with Integrated Pest Management (IPM) expertise
- Irrigation system management experience with knowledge of sustainability program planning and coordination
- Advanced competence with MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and other software programs
- Ability to troubleshoot technical systems including living wall components and automation hardware.
- Experience with water chemistry as it relates to hydroponic systems
- Background in effectively collaborating with large groups or teams in corporate environments
- Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities with data collection and analysis skills (pH, EC, RH)
- Knowledge of modular planted systems and living wall technologies
- Experience in vendor management and quality control implementation
- Background in community engagement and ambassador roles
- Familiarity with Amazon's sustainability initiatives and corporate culture.
