- Oversee and lead sorting staff to produce outbound shipments of freight to multiple Lanter locations
- Train new staff at customer locations
- Assist with direction and continuous improvement initiatives
- Organize and distribute work assignments for sort team
- Conflict and issue resolution management as needed
- Manage daily end of shift reports as well as performance updates
- Work closely on-site with customer and provide transparent communication at all times
- Other duties as assigned
- Load/unload trailers
- Sort and scan freight
- Set up dock for daily outbound operations
- Operate forklift as needed
- Working in outside weather conditions
- Lifting 50+ lbs., bending, walking, standing.
- 1-3 years supervisory experience preferably in transportation, warehouse or related area
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc)
- Team player and solid communication skills
- Detail oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Travel within the district is required
