Senior Application System AdministratorThe Senior Application System Administrator will evaluate, install, configure, and deploy applications, systems software, products, and/or enhancements to existing applications.RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Evaluate, install, configure, and deploy applications, systems software, products, and/or enhancements to existing applications.
  • Performs system administration on designated technology platforms, including operating systems, applications and network devices, in accordance with the defined policies, standards and procedures of the organization, as well as with industry best practices and vendor guidelines.
  • Performs installation and configuration management of systems and applications, including policy assessment and compliance tools.
  • Collaborate with analysts and system owners in the testing of all applications.
  • Ensure that any integration into company systems meets functional requirements, system compliance, and interface specifications.
  • Perform daily monitoring and troubleshooting of the applications. Manage support tickets daily.
  • Install and configure patches and upgrades as required.
  • Provide direction for the application team in support of operations.
  • Coordinate feasibility studies for products under consideration for purchase, and give advice based on findings.
  • Assist the product owner and business analyst in describing their business need and then work together with them to produce a documented use case.
  • Document user stories.
  • Validate and recommend changes to requirements documentation for specificity and accuracy.
  • Work with 3rd Party service providers on application deployment, patches, and fixes.
  • Plan release using runbook.
  • Perform testing steps to verify successful release.
This is a 6-month contract role. This role is onsite, Monday - Friday in Alpharetta.Visionaire Partners offers all full-time W2 contractors a comprehensive benefits package for the contractor, their spouses/domestic partners, and dependents.   • 5-7 years of application support, database administration, or business systems analysis
  • Application administration skills for Microsoft applications, Oracle DB and Oracle applications, SQL DB, CRM, ERP, or financial platforms
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline
PREFERRED SKILLS:
  • Oracle Certified Associate or certification in any application platform or database
  • Project management experience
