This position can be located in NAR's Chicago, IL or Washington, DC office onlyPosition Summary:The National Association of REALTORS® is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Financial Analyst to join our Financial Planning & Analysis team, reporting to the VP of Financial Planning and Analysis. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in driving the financial performance of the organization by implementing best practices for reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.Duties and Responsibilities: Financial Planning and Forecasting
  • Lead the development of annual budgets and forecasts. Collaborate with various departments to gather inputs and ensure alignment with strategic plan.
Management Reporting
  • Prepare and present management reports for leadership on a monthly basis.
  • Analyze financial performance against budget, forecast and prior year. Identify areas of improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Identify trends, variances and key performance indicators (KPIs). Provide actionable insights and recommendations to improve financial performance.
Systems and Process Improvements
  • Assist in the build-out of the NetSuite Planning and Budgeting tool.
  • Train users on the tool.
  • Continuously improve budgeting / forecast processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Implement best practices in FP&A.
Cross-Functional Partnership
  • Serve as a finance partner to various teams, providing insights and recommendations.
  • Help implement a culture of financial accountability and transparency.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degrees in Finance or Accounting.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in FP&A or Corporate Finance.
  • Strong financial modeling and Excel skills.
  • Experience with NetSuite Planning and Budgeting is a plus.
  • Knowledge of data tools like Power BI and Tableau is a plus.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational and communication skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • High attention to detail, intellectual curiosity, and a proactive mindset.
  • Demonstrated self initiative, critical thinking, and ability to drive project independently.
  • Proven communication and outreach skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders.
Compensation: $85,000-$105,000
NAR provides comprehensive benefits including health/dental/vision insurance.
