Continuous Improvement Intern – WorldWide ElectricLocation: Hernando, MS and Warrior, AL
Duration: One semester (approx. 3 months)
Start Date: Second week of January

As part of goals this year, we are starting an internship program to support the creation of a Continuous Improvement departmentRole & ResponsibilitiesReport directly and collaborate with the Sr. Operations Engineer on continuous improvement projects.
Implementation of Toyota Kata methodology.
Begin coaching 2–3 team members daily using scientific thinking principles.
Support projects aligned with ISO 9001 certification.
Use Microsoft tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio) for documentation and analysis.
Optionally apply Power BI for basic data analytics.
Skills & QualificationsPursuing a degree in Industrial, Mechanical or systems Engineering (2nd year or above preferred).
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Ability to think scientifically and systemically.
Problem identification and structured problem-solving mindset.
Prior experience is a plus but not required.
Learning & DevelopmentReceive 10-hour formal training in Toyota Kata methodology.
Gain hands-on experience in coaching and continuous improvement.
