- Salary Range: $119,780 - $182,670 annually (Determined by function, education, experience, and qualifications of the applicant.)
- Provides guidance on executing approved Constructability ideas and plans.
- Initiates the Constructability Program process and schedule, identifying construction related requirements to other functions in time to support their estimating efforts during project development/Front-End Engineering and Design (FEED) phase.
- Participates and may lead construction related design decisions by providing Construction’s perspective to schedules, design deliverables, equipment purchases, degree of shop fabrication, and equipment delivery configuration and sequence.
- Maintains effective interface with Home office construction team, jobsite team ensuring construction’s requirements are communicated to Engineering team
- Leads and participates in 3D Model reviews, interdisciplinary coordination reviews of design drawings and ensures design is safe, constructible, and cost effective.
- Assists with the development and delivery of Constructability awareness training and/or enterprise or project supervisory and technical training.
- Maintains and develops enterprise-wide processes and procedures
- Coordinates with projects to implement Quality Management System
- Sponsors and develops enterprise applications
- Assists in and may lead proposal efforts
- Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 10-13 years of relevant experience or 14-17 years of relevant work experience
- Extensive background managing heavy construction equipment, including but not limited to cranes,
- Experience generating and maintaining resource-loaded schedules, inventory control, and has ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics and determine staffing, material, equipment, and tool requirements.
- Experience in supervising craft, technicians, and subcontractors.
- Knowledge of heavy industrial equipment manufacturers and suppliers in industry.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Understands equipment warranties, performance guarantees, and equipment fitness for use.\
- Knowledge of multi-discipline construction and or operating functions.
- Knowledge and understanding of the application and requirements of the Project Environmental, Safety & Health (ES&H) Handbook and the Bechtel Core Processes as they relate to area of responsibility.
- Knowledge of heavy-industrial equipment management work processes and procedures.
- Proficient in Microsoft suite in word processing, spreadsheet and database applications
- Excellent customer relations and communication skills.
- Heavy industrial US direct hire construction experience
- Bechtel Certified Equipment Manager (CEM) certification preferred.
