Overview:Join Our Team as a Records Management Assistant (Contract)Are you a meticulous and dependable professional with a passion for organization? If so, we want to hear from you!We are seeking a Records Management Assistant to join our team in a contract position up to one year. This is a unique opportunity for an individual who is not only detail-oriented but also comfortable with both administrative tasks and physical work, including some travel. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including:Warehouse & Records ManagementReceive, label, and store incoming document boxes and files according to company policies.Retrieve and prepare documents for scheduled deliveries or pickups.Maintain accurate inventory records using our warehouse management systems.Safely operate shredding machines and other warehouse equipment as needed.Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.Handle sensitive and confidential materials, including medical records and Protected Health Information (PHI), with strict adherence to HIPAA regulations.Driving & LogisticsSafely operate a box truck for local and out-of-state deliveries and pickups.Load and unload document boxes using proper lifting techniques.Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.Follow scheduled routes and delivery timelines, complying with all DOT regulations.Communication & TeamworkCommunicate clearly and professionally with clients during pickups and deliveries.Coordinate with warehouse staff and supervisors to ensure timely and accurate service.Report any issues or delays promptly and maintain a professional demeanor at all times. Qualifications:What You Bring to the TableHigh School Diploma or Equivalent.A valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.Experience driving a box truck.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Basic computer skills for data entry and inventory tracking.The ability to work independently and as part of a team.Willingness to travel to out-of-state warehouses.Physical DemandsThis role requires the ability to perform physical tasks, including:Standing and walking for extended periods (up to 8-10 hours).Frequently lifting and carrying items weighing up to 50 lbs., and occasionally up to 75 lbs. with assistance.Regularly bending, stooping, twisting, and climbing ladders.Working in a variety of temperatures and around moving machinery.If you are a reliable, organized, and dedicated individual who is ready to make a difference, apply today!
