Job DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our team in West Springfield, MA. This full-time position offers 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, with no weekend shifts. The ideal candidate will have experience in electronic medical records and proficiency in blood drawing, with a minimum of 30 successful phlebotomy sticks. Experience in OBGYN or Women's Health is considered beneficial.Responsibilities
Manage patient flow activities and assist with clinical exams and procedures related to all Reproductive Endocrinology office activities.
Perform phlebotomy and other appropriate procedures such as taking vital signs, adhering to established protocols.
Refer patients to the appropriate physician or nurse staff when special needs are identified.
Document activities and data accurately in medical records.
Essential Skills
Experience with electronic medical records (EMR).
Proficiency in phlebotomy with at least 30 successful blood draws.
Medical assisting and knowledge of medical terminology.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in OBGYN or Women's Health is a plus.
