The Uber Equity team is looking for a Global Equity Senior Administrator to join our growing and dynamic team. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of consistently delivering high-quality work on time, thrives in a collaborative, "all hands on deck" environment, and is enthusiastic about expanding their knowledge of global equity administration at a fast-paced global company. Reporting directly to our Manager of Stock Administration, you will contribute to Uber's global equity initiatives, specifically focusing on mobile employee equity taxation, global equity compliance and planning, and various special projects.This role is based in our office in San Francisco, Seattle, Chicago, Dallas, or New York City.What you'll do
  • Audit cross-border (mobile) transactions related to RSU releases/option exercises, manage third-party mobile calculation engine, and maintain associated taxation profiles/tax ruleset within Shareworks
  • Monitor regulatory changes around the globe, and oversee implementation of regulatory changes to ensure program design and administration adhere to country-specific requirements
  • Manage recurring global equity plan reporting and international filings, including coordination with legal advisors
  • Lead tax and mobility-focused equity education initiatives to encourage employee understanding and engagement
  • Respond promptly to employee inquiries on equity tax and mobility-related matters
  • Partner with the equity operations team to facilitate day-to-day equity operations and assist with ad-hoc equity projects based on business requests
Basic requirements
  • Minimum of 3+ years of progressive experience working with global equity plans or global mobility taxation, gained through in-house programs or consulting/accounting/law firms
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications
  • 5+ years of progressive experience working with global equity plans or global mobility taxation, gained through in-house programs or consulting/accounting/law firms
  • Comprehensive knowledge of global equity plan design along with associated complexities of plan administration, regulatory requirements, and taxation implications
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the proven ability to effectively manage, influence, negotiate, and communicate with business partners
  • Excellent project management skills, with a proven ability to design workable solutions, manage multiple initiatives simultaneously, prioritize workloads effectively, meet deadlines, and drive projects to successful completion
  • Demonstrated ability to function in a highly confidential environment with high attention to detail and consistent follow-through
  • CEP designation
  • Experience with Shareworks, or other third-party equity administration platforms
  • Experience with Deloitte GAIN and Human Capital Management systems
For Chicago, IL-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$107,000 per year - USD$119,000 per year.For Dallas, TX-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$107,000 per year - USD$119,000 per year.For New York, NY-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$119,000 per year - USD$132,000 per year.For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$119,000 per year - USD$132,000 per year.For Seattle, WA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$107,000 per year - USD$119,000 per year.For all US locations, you will be eligible to participate in Uber's bonus program, and may be offered an equity award & other types of comp.
