- Oversee daily administrative operations of EPN/EPS practices including patient interactions, utilization/optimization of EPIC, clinical workflow, documentation, and resolution of issues, processing financial and business forms, scheduling, customer service and clinical encounters.
- Manage administrative and clinical staff to ensure timely and accurate completion of tasks and customer service excellence; manage efforts to ensure optimal levels of reimbursement.
- Create, monitor, and adjust therapist schedules to maximize productivity and to increase patient’s access.
- Oversees department staffing and tracks volume to budget projections; participates in budgetary planning, implementation, and monitoring. Research and describe reasons for budget variances. Work with Revenue Integrity to ensure optimal levels of reimbursement.
- Identify new opportunities to advance departmental goals, measure performance, and implements quality and performance improvements plans. Facilitate multidisciplinary participation.
- Facilitate meetings of staff including regularly clinical, front office, and full section meetings as needed. Provide agenda's, minutes and follow-up communication as required.
- Support alignment of practice operations through participation in efforts to standardize common workflows.
- Support marketing and outreach efforts to raise awareness and cultivate new business. Foster relationships with new and existing patients to ensure highest level of retention and referral. Support efforts to increase referral of new patients. Update EHS website as needed.
- Participate and contribute to the successful implementation in health system improvement projects
- Responsible for maintaining Environment of Care and ensures compliance with EHS policies and procedures as well as established safety and regulatory guidelines, including HIPAA, OSHA, DNV and infection prevention policies and procedures. Ensure employees adhere to patient safety guidelines, confidentiality requirements, and ensure high levels of customer service.
- Responsible for professional development of staff. Implement staff training and development programs. Provide leadership of workflow improvement programs
- Payment and EOD balancing; FTE Requests, Office WQ's; Charge Reconciliation; referral, access, scheduling, testing and financial reports as needed.
