This position will be with our Genomics division in manufacturing providing OEM manufacturing kits and services for pharmaceutical and biotech industries around the world. Here, you will work on project management assignments and deliver solutions, while continuously growing your skills and knowledge base.Key Responsibilities:Lead projects from concept to delivery while partnering with internal and external cross-functional teamsPrepare cost models and generate comprehensive project proposals.Develop relationships with internal departments to effectively coordinate activities and help to set prioritiesAssist in determining resource requirements and allocate discrete project goals amongst the departments required for the projectsParticipate in recommendations for improvements of process and administrative issues or inefficiencies that impact the ancillary programsPrioritize projects and day-to-day workflow for self and other team membersAssist in maintaining budget forecast and actual account figures/project quotes, as related to projects for the planning and management teamParticipate in business development by informing prospective clients of our manufacturing, development, and analytical capabilitiesAssist business development by collecting custom project requirements/specifications while building effective business relationships.Identify and solve complex problems by utilizing a new perspective using existing solutions#LI-TH1QualificationsBS / MS degree in Chemistry, Biology or equivalent combination of education and employment8+ years of experience within the pharmaceutical or biotech industry (experience with an Oligonucleotide API manufacturing company preferred)4+ years of experience in project management (i.e. creating deliverable proposals to client specifications, etc.)Demonstrated success in maintaining multiple client projects, multi-tasking capability requiredAbility to create a solutions-oriented approach and customer focus to drive towards business goalsExperience with pharmaceutical development, chemistry, PCR and QPCR reagents and/or DNA / RNA analytical experience is highly desiredcGMP regulatory knowledge preferredMust have a team player mentality with the ability to collaborate and negotiate within cross-functional teamsExcellent written and verbal communication skills and comfortable with presenting to multidisciplinary internal/external audiencesHigh Reasoning: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where there is only limited standardized processes.Additional DetailsThis job has a full time weekly schedule.
