- Provide leadership to support a varied range of administrative tasking, to include corrective/preventive maintenance, recurring operations functions, and system optimization.
- Coordinate technical and process document reviews.
- Advise support teams for system administration, engineering, and integration issues.
- Participate in and lead technical meetings with team members and other program personnel, representing the organization in functional area matters.
- Provide IT systems design support in a heterogeneous Microsoft Windows and Redhat Enterprise Linux environment.
- Develop and coordinate IT technology strategies, roadmaps, and reference architectures.
- Analyze business requirements to develop technical solutions.
- Support proposal teams and technical review teams to aid the creation of technical solutions.
- Develop effective business relationships and foster an open culture of collaboration.
- Perform technology evaluations, develop proof-of-concepts, and look for opportunities to introduce advanced Information Technologies into solutions and products.
- Develop and drive the use of common processes and tools across the program function.
- Must be able to obtain Department of Defense Directive (DoDD) 8140 / 8570 Certification requirements (CompTIA Security+ CE or equivalent certification) within 6 months of start date.
- Systems are operational 24x7 and occasionally require work effort beyond standard work hours.
- Travel may be required or commuting to the local Raytheon US Domestic Site as business needs dictate.
- Role Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree and minimum 5 years' experience, and in lieu of degree, those with a minimum of 12 years of relevant experience will be considered.
- Experience providing technical solutions for IT systems.
- Experience in developing systems designs, including architecture, and deployment.
- Experience with infrastructure technologies such as (one or more of the following): server operating systems, server hardware, computing, storage, networks, virtualization, encryption, and security.
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, including presentation skills.
- Organizational skills to include attention to detail, time management and ability to multitask.
- Extensive experience with Microsoft Windows, Red Hat, Ansible, VMware, Containerization, Cloud and NetApp Storage devices; Architectural and Security certifications such as TOGAF, Security+, and CISSP
- Candidate must have the ability to clearly articulate ideas, process steps, and technical data in written, graphical, and spoken dialogue.
- Familiarity with Government security controls including NISPOM, JAFAN, ICD 503 and the RMF
