How You Will Make an ImpactResponsible for supporting the Operations and Shipping teams with completing administrative reporting in JDE, inspection of vehicles before delivery, preparation of units based on customer specification, and transporting chassis to and from storage locations in the yard, off site or to dealers that need repairs. Make and pick up deliveries.The Nuts and Bolts
Adhere to all Safety procedures, processes, and PPE usage as well as 5S of work area
Conduct inspection of vehicle before entering information into JDE system
Utilize standard work for receiving inspection of chassis
Enter chassis receipt and daily task paperwork into the JDE system
Transport chassis to and from Penske for pre delivery inspection
Coordinate yard for overflow of chassis and manage the movement of chassis between Reading, Kenhorst and Corporate locations
Ensure that chassis are properly fueled and transporting to fuel station
Make and pick up required deliveries
Maintain parts and materials needed to support the line and stock supplies
Required Credentials
Valid Driver’s License without negative driving history
High School Diploma or GED preferred
Basic computer skills, preferred knowledge of Microsoft Word
Willing to work overtime and varied shift assignments as required
Prior manufacturing experience
