Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking Design Engineers to join our team on-site in multiple locations on a 4/10 Schedule (Monday-Thursday) with Per Diem (Meal, Lodging, Car, & Gas). The current scope of work is to assist with the structural integrity of a Nuclear Facility that is currently in the design phase.Responsibilities:· Under direct supervision of the Discipline Lead Engineer or Design Supervisor, prepare and check designs of intermediate complexity utilizing 3D modeling and 2D computer-aided drafting and design (CADD) automation tools· Coordinate technical issues with other disciplines, project management, vendors and clients· Execute work in compliance with Project Quality Plan and procedures· Perform bulk material take-off analysis and tabulations· Perform Concrete, Steel Structure/Building, & FEA AnalysisQualifications:· Bachelor's degree in Civil, Structural, or relevant degree· 5+ years of experience of steel structural, seismic, & FEA analysis· Private Nuclear, DOE, or Oil/Gas Background· Proficiency with STAAD Pro, RISA, or Mathcad· Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screeningCompensation:· Salary Range: 135k-145k with Per Diem allowance· Comprehensive Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k, PTO, Sick Leave as required by law, and Holidays
