Location: Remote or Hybrid in Naperville, IL / Atlanta, GA

Benefits: Full benefits packageSterling Engineering is partnering with Kinectrics to hire a Senior Mechanical Engineer. This role involves taking on technical leadership responsibilities, guiding complex design projects, and working directly with customers on critical engineering discussions.Job Duties:Design and modify key components to meet rigorous specifications.Lead technical reviews of calculations and design deliverables.Provide technical leadership and mentorship within project teams.Engage with customers in detailed technical discussions.Qualifications:Minimum 8 years of progressively responsible commercial nuclear experience.Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET-accredited school.Preferred: Professional Engineering (PE) License.Strong mastery of engineering principles with proven technical expertise.Working knowledge of codes, standards, and regulations related to nuclear power plant design.Effective written and verbal communication skills with clients and colleagues.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.Must be legally authorized to work permanently in the U.S. without visa sponsorship (now or in the future).Schedule:Remote (excluding West Coast).Naperville, IL: 2 days per week in office.Atlanta, GA: 1 day per week in office.Occasional travel to client locations as needed.Qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, age, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, protected veteran status, or genetic information.
