Perform standard shipping and receiving duties by receiving products and preparing outgoing shipments. Position includes inventory and basic computer / paperwork organization duties.ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Receiving: Receive, unbox, document, and stock Scantron Products
  • Check in incoming products
  • Shipping: Prepare outgoing shipments by:
  • boxing products
  • stretch wrapping
  • labeling cartons
  • parcel processing
  • Using a pallet jack
  • Deliver or route materials to departments or designated personnel.
  • Stocking: Stocks shelves with incoming standard product inventory in an organized and accurate manner
  • Keeps shipping areas neat and organized
  • Inventory: Conduct cycle count product inventory and supplies as per department schedules to ensure accuracy of on-hand counts
  • Point of contact to answer inventory questions from depot and field technicians
  • Prepare and maintain accurate documentation, both on computer and in paper format.
  • Route paperwork to appropriate departments
  • Track products returning to venders
  • Work with internal and external customers to achieve shipment objectives.
  • Ensure quality control and accuracy.
  • Recommend improvements to work methods or procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
  • Education / Experience:
  • High School Graduate, GED, or higher,
  • Two years of related experience,
  • Or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proficient in computer entry and Microsoft Excel
  • Effective communication and interactions skills
  • Be self-motivated and able to work effectively under minimal supervision
  • Detail-orientated
  • Be able to learn and float between all shipping/receiving/logistic responsibilities
  • Able to work in a team environment
  • Must be able to lift, push, and pull up to 75 lbs.
  • Regular, consistent attendance at work
