QATV Overview:The Finance Quality Assurance, Testing, and Validation (QATV) team is dedicated to ensuring the highest standards of accuracy, reliability and control through testing Citi’s regulatory and management reporting while providing an objective assessment of issue remediation. The team sits within the Finance organization and comprises nine teams with more than 250 colleagues across the globe.QATV is the critical First Line Testing for key BCBS 239 reports and quality assurance and issue management across Finance. We will continue to enhance our methodology, deliver enterprise-wide frameworks, and drive controlled and consistent results with our partners.This is an exciting time to join QATV with growth plans and business critical deliverables across all regions.Key Responsibilities:We are seeking a highly skilled and analytical Financial Analyst with expertise in Alteryx to join our Finance team. This role will be responsible for designing and implementing automated workflows to streamline financial processes, enhance data quality, and support regulatory and management reporting. The ideal candidate will have strong financial acumen, experience with data transformation, and a passion for process automation.
  • Develop and maintain Alteryx workflows to automate repetitive finance processes (e.g., reconciliations, data validations, report generation).
  • Support the regulatory reporting QATV team by automating data aggregation and cleansing for CCAR, Y-14, FFIEC, and other financial reports.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Risk, Audit, IT, Controls) to understand data requirements and identify automation opportunities.
  • Build reusable templates and macros to standardize and scale finance processes.
  • Perform data validation, error checks, and exception reporting to ensure accuracy in financial outputs.
  • Assist in transitioning manual tasks to automated solutions, documenting all procedures and workflow logic.
  • Monitor automated processes and address workflow failures or inefficiencies.
  • Train team members on Alteryx tools and best practices to promote self-service analytics.
  • Create dashboards or outputs integrated with Tableau, Power BI, or Excel for reporting insights.
  • Support internal and external audit requirements through automated data sourcing and traceability.
​Qualifications:Required:
  • 10+ years of experience in Finance or Financial Systems roles, preferably within a regulated environment (banking, insurance, asset management).
  • Proficient in Alteryx Designer (Advanced Certification a plus) and Tableau.
  • Strong understanding of financial reporting.
  • Experience working with large datasets, data cleansing, and transformation.
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills; familiarity with databases (SQL, Snowflake) is a plus.
  • Attention to detail with a strong sense of data accuracy and compliance.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Preferred:
  • Experience with Power BI, Python, or VBA.
  • Knowledge of financial regulatory reports (e.g., CCAR, Y-14, 10-Q/10-K).
