The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing business requirements, developing features, debugging the software, leading incident remediation operations, and development and socializing of coding guidelines. You will play a critical role in ensuring the functionality and reliability of our software solutions and developing our teams.Your main tasks are:
- Identification of customer's business needs and design and architecting the appropriate solution proposal in SAP's CPQ application and surrounding systems
- Lead and facilitation of incident remediation and problem management cases
- Analysis of business requirements, performing technical analysis, implementing features and improvements remotely and onsite, in distributed regional and global teams, as part of an Agile Release Train (ART)
- Usage of Python, SQL and CPQ-customizing to develop features in CPQ and surrounding systems
- Contribution to continuous enhancement of the CPQ solution design according to changing market requirements and identify potential enhancements, continuously improving our service offering
- Closely collaboration with people in several roles across the company
- Establishing and maintaining trustful relationships with people on all levels of both externally on customer side and SAP internally
- Experience / Knowledge in software development.
- Leverage your DevOps mindset and skills, to build end user focused, high-quality solutions.
- Demonstrate excellent quality, design, development and delivery skills in scrum teams working in short development and release cycles.
- Proficient in writing web applications using Node.js and/or Python 3 programming language. Able to demonstrate hands-on experience based on concrete use cases.
- Knowledge with one or more common UI frameworks like React, Vue.js, Angular, FIORI/UI5 and related web technologies is a plus.
- Experience / Knowledge in development tools and practices such as Git workflow (Code Reviews, Pull Requests, Merges) Test Automation and CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with agile project delivery (Scrum, Kanban etc.).
- Strong interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills in the English language.
- Ability to guide and support other team members, providing technical guidance and assistance.
- Excellent communication and moderation skills, strong team spirit.
- Knowledge in building solutions for sales business process and corporate value chain including deal execution, order management, billing, invoicing and provisioning.
- Good understanding of essential business processes like Lead-2-Cash, Procure-2-Pay, Design-2-Operate are a plus.
- Experience with performance profiling and tuning.
