- Maintain a daily project diary and help establish project priorities.
- Daily timecard entry and approval
- Track and record project costs, production quantities, yield statistics, and onsite inventory counts.
- Compile cycle times and production information and log this information for historical data.
- Gather pay item quantities and collect information on extra work items.
- Conduct timely billing and reporting to maximize profit margins and positive cash flow.
- Manage and maintain department specific technology and computer programs.
- Document schedule delays and perform schedule updates.
- Assemble and distribute project plans and specifications updates.
- Sustain a comprehensive understanding of the plans and specifications.
- Coordinate efforts with management, project technicians, and customers to maintain and meet project scheduling.
- Provide an environment where dynamic project communication occurs between Project Technicians, Management, Superintendents, and customers to ensure work is accomplished in an efficient, profitable, and safe manner.
- Ensure proper job controls, i.e., quantities, costs, revenue, and schedule.
- Establish and maintain working relationships with owners, agencies, subcontractors, inspectors, etc., providing customer service to develop long-term partnerships with client base.
- Ensure accurate reports for the job allowing for continuous improvement in performance.
- Assist project in helping to meet or exceed expected margins.
- Understanding and documentation of pipeline sampling/testing results
- Other duties as assigned.
- Currently pursuing a CM, CE, ME, EE Engineering, or related degree
- Understanding basic industrial construction projects.
- Ability to travel to various job locations.
- Strong computer skills required with a special emphasis on Excel skills.
- Experience in the construction industry preferred.
- Competent in all Microsoft products and scheduling experience
- Strong work ethic, ability to prioritize and excellent communication skills.
- Willingness to work both in field and office settings and an ability to work in a high production, fast moving environment.
- A valid driver’s license and proof of insurability is required. All drivers are subject to a DMV background records search.
- Must be a team player.
