Description :Essential Functions:
  • Meet or exceed store operating policies and standards, including providing quality beverages and food products, cash handling and store safety and security, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Handles payments from guests, operates cash register, and properly settle checks according to procedures and SOPs established by management.
  • Accounts for assigned cash drawers, all money received, and all transactions recorded during shifts.
  • Records all tips collected from credit cards.
  • Engage with and understand our customers, including discovering and responding to customer needs through clear and pleasant communication.
  • Prepare food and beverages to standard recipes or customize for customers, including recipe changes (e.g. temperature, quantity of ingredients or substituted ingredients).
  • Maintains and rotates dated food stock and arriving food orders.
  • Ensures cleanliness of food preparation areas, by cleaning and wiping down workstation and utensils before and after each assignment.
  • Breaks down workstations, cleans & restocks.
  • Opens food service outlets in a timely fashion as instructed, including the preparation, and serving of bakery, grab and go, beverage, coffee, and ice cream items, as needed.
  • Available to perform many different tasks within the store during each shift.
  • Performs “station” and “side work” checks, as directed by policy and assists with administrative duties as assigned.
  • Monitors guest consumption of alcohol and intervenes as needed according to guidelines.
  • Interacts with guests and co-workers in a helpful, positive, upbeat, and professional manner while taking food/beverage orders, accepting payment through cash, credit, check and delivery of order to guests and/or guest table.
  • Removes and properly disposes of all refuse and debris accumulated in service stations and dining tables in accordance with department procedures.
  • Use of oven, toaster, steamer, blender, and other food preparation equipment.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • Must be able to sit, stand or walk for long periods of time (8 hours).
  • Must be able to maneuver throughout all areas of the property and from floor to floor either by stairways (minimum of 20 steps) or escalator.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.; and, have the ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop and kneel.
  • Must have the manual dexterity to operate necessary F&B equipment.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
  • Work requires schedule flexibility which may include nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to learn quickly.
  • Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions and request clarification when needed.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to build relationships and work as part of a team.
Education and Experience
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Six months previous experience in related field preferred, but not required.
  • Prior money/cash handling experience preferred but not required.
Required Certification/License
  • OLC, Non-Gaming License.
