
Construction Contract Sales Manager

- Ensures that all contract department team members meet or exceed all activity standards for prospecting calls, appointments, presentations, proposals and closes
- Delegate authority and responsibility with accountability and follow-up
- Sets examples as a working manager for sales team members in areas of personal character, commitment, organizational and selling skills, and work habits
- Conducts regular coaching and counseling with sales team members to build motivation and selling skills
- Maintains contact with all clients in the market area to ensure high levels of client satisfaction
- Demonstrates ability to interact and cooperate with all company employees
- Other relative duties as assigned
- High School Diploma, or an equivalent combination of education/experience
- Current and valid US driver’s license preferred
- At least 5-7 years of experience in sales and personnel management
- At least 1 year of experience with estimating software solutions
- At least 1 year of experience with the commercial door and hardware industry required
- Extensive experience in all aspects of Supplier Relationship Management
- Must pass pre-employment background check and drug test
- Strong customer relation skills
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite
- Working knowledge of door hardware, access control, and locks
- Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements
- Willingness to travel
- Proven leadership and ability to drive sales teams
- Works closely with other managers to build consensus in our approach to the train of the sales team
- Excellent communication and problem solving skills
