
Quality Program Coordinator - ELOP

- Conduct daily site visits to assigned program sites to perform coaching, modeling of best practices and processes, and to conduct formal quality improvement activities
- Ensure all assigned program(s) sites have average daily attendance (ADA) including collaborating with school personnel to recruit students, managing student attendance and waiting lists effectively, and by incorporating student feedback into program design
- Communicate with families, school personnel, and program partners frequently to ensure assigned sites develop and maintain positive relationships with families, school, and district partners
- Assist sites in developing and implementing daily program activities that are academically aligned, age appropriate, and offer students the opportunity to problem solve, collaborate, and showcase skill building and mastery
- Ensure sites have standardized safety procedures in place to ensure participants are safe and accounted for at all times throughout program
- Implement positive behavior guidance procedures and consistent accident and incident reporting at all expanded learning programs
- Ensure school sites implement and maintain the program requirements of school districts, and the YMCA of San Diego County
- Serve as site-based substitute of the expanded learning program in the absence of a Site Supervisor
- Must be 21 years of age or older and possess a high school diploma/GED
- Minimum if three (3) years’ experience in child and youth development, education, or comparable setting required
- Must meet the educational requirements of the programs of supervision; Minimum 48 college units required including 15 college units (3 basic Child Development, 9 additional units related to Child & Youth Development, and 3 units Child & Youth Development Program Administration units) and/or completion of 48 college units, or passed CAPE/ Instructional Aide proficiency exam; AA or BA in Education, Child Development or related field
- Visual and auditory ability to respond to critical incidents and the physical ability to act in an emergency situation.
- Fingerprint clearance from DOJ/FBI required prior to working
- TB test clearance within 60 days prior to employment or prior to working on a school site
- Completion of Child Abuse Prevention training prior to working with
