If you take pride in your technical skills and want to work on recognizable locations like Dollywood Hotel, Vanderbilt University, and other key sites, this is your opportunity to join a team where your expertise makes a real difference.This full-time, Monday-Friday role offers competitive pay, steady hours, and the chance to work across multiple sites. Travel with the team from Access DNSI, and receive per diem compensation for travel exceeding 50 miles.About the RoleAs a Fire Alarm Technician, you'll be responsible for the installation, maintenance, inspection, and repair of fire alarm systems across various commercial locations. You'll help ensure safety systems are reliable, up to code, and functioning as designed to protect people and property.Your Day-to-Day:Install, test, and commission fire alarm systemsPerform routine inspections, troubleshooting, and maintenanceDiagnose and resolve issues in a timely mannerMaintain compliance with NFPA standards and local fire codesTravel to different job sites (with mileage/per diem compensation where applicable)Work independently or as part of a mobile team with flexibility on start time (6:30-7:00 AM)What You BringRequired:Proven experience installing and servicing fire alarm systemsStrong knowledge of fire safety codes and NFPA standardsAbility to interpret blueprints and technical documentationValid driver's license and willingness to travel between job sitesExcellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsStrong communication and time management abilitiesPreferred:NICET certification (or willingness to obtain)Experience working with multiple manufacturers' systemsPrior experience on commercial or institutional projects (hotels, universities, etc.)Why Join UsAt PDS Tech Commercial, you're not just taking on a job - you're stepping into a career path with purpose.
