- Develop and execute strategies to analyze and manage complex data sets, uncovering valuable business insights.
- Manage and grow a team of data scientists and analysts ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Develop predictive models for energy demand forecasting, building performance optimization and grid optimization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for leveraging data to improve operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Present technical topics effectively to varied audiences and establish strong relationships across the organization and directly with clients.
- Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the team.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field is required.
- 5 to 10 years of experience in a BI, reporting, data science, data analytics role.
- Some people Management experience preferred.
- Knowledge of building or utility energy data is highly desirable.
- Strong expertise in data science tools and platforms, including Python, R, Anaconda, Jupyter Notebook, and data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
- Knowledge of big data solutions, cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), and database management systems.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and project management frameworks.
- Comprehensive understanding of data privacy policies, data protection regulations, and best practices for data governance.
- Business acumen with the ability to translate data insights into actionable strategies that align with organizational goals.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Strong problem-solving and root cause identification skills, coupled with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
- Relevant certifications in data science, analytics, or big data technologies are a plus.
