Information Assurance SpecialistLocation: PACAF Headquarters, Joint Base Pearl Harbor–Hickam, HawaiiClearance Required: Active Top Secret/SCI ClearanceMissionLeidos National Security Sector is seeking a highly motivated Information Assurance Specialist to support the U.S. Space Force (USSF) at the Pacific Air Forces (PACAF) Special Security Office (SSO), located at Joint Base Pearl Harbor–Hickam, Hawaii. This role plays a pivotal part in strengthening the cybersecurity posture of Space Force operations across the Indo-Pacific region. You’ll work alongside a dynamic team of Information Assurance and IT professionals, collaborating directly with the PACAF Chief ISR Information Security Officer (CIISO), the PACAF Information System Security Manager (ISSM), and subordinate SSOs to ensure secure, compliant operations of Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) systems and infrastructure.This is a unique opportunity to contribute to national defense priorities and support the strategic expansion of Space Force capabilities in the Pacific theater.Primary Responsibilities:Support cybersecurity operations for AFJWICS systems and SCI enclavesApply NIST Risk Management Framework (RMF) methodologies to assess and mitigate system risksProvide cybersecurity guidance to PACAF and USSF personnelImplement and enforce cybersecurity policies, procedures, and best practicesParticipate in meetings and working groups as directed by the PACAF ISSM and CIISODevelop and review Security Impact Analyses (SIAs) for significant system changesProcess Change Requests (CRs) through the PACAF Configuration Management Board (CMB)Maintain security documentation and artifacts to support ATO/ATC sustainmentCoordinate with SSOs to initiate protective or corrective actions in response to security incidentsConduct continuous monitoring and draft Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&Ms) as neededDeliver cybersecurity training and support to USSF and PACAF personnelBasic Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Information Assurance, Cybersecurity, or related discipline with 8+ years of related experience.
