Make Ready Technician - Katy, TXJob Summary:As a Make Ready Technician, your primary role will be to carefully prepare rental units for new tenants, ensuring that they meet or surpass the required quality standards. Additionally, you will contribute to creating a safe and inviting environment for residents, enhancing their overall satisfaction and comfort.Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Perform general handyman and repair tasks as necessary.
  • Ensure the timely and accurate completion of service requests.
  • Execute Make Ready duties to prepare units for incoming tenants.
  • Lead move-in/move-out orientations for new residents.
  • Assist with addressing punch list items as directed.
  • Support building activities as assigned by the Project Manager.
  • Provide all-encompassing assistance to Superintendents in their tasks.
  • Oversee cleaning duties, pressure washing, Make Ready preparations, warranty calls, and coordination of vendor meetings.

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in maintenance or related field.
  • Knowledge of basic maintenance procedures and tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in verbal and written communication in English.
Essential Functions:
  • Reliable transportation that meets job responsibilities.
  • Valid Texas Driver's License.
  • Maintain at least minimum car insurance required by Texas law.
  • Typical work schedule, Monday through Friday, and after hours as requested.
  • Ability to access, input, and retrieve information from a computer and/or electronic device.
  • Excellent organization, coordination, and project management skills.
  • Lift or move items up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to walk, sit or stand for long periods of time.
  • Ability to communicate effectively through written and verbal communication in English.
