- Administer a variety of massage techniques, including Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, myofascial release, trigger point therapy, and sports massage, to address clients' specific concerns and goals.
- Collaborate closely with Physical Therapists, to integrate massage therapy into comprehensive treatment plans.
- Uphold high standards of professionalism, ethical conduct, and client confidentiality at all times.
- Actively participate in ongoing professional development activities, including workshops, seminars, and continuing education courses, to stay abreast of the latest advancements in massage therapy techniques and best practices.
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment by fostering open communication, mutual respect, and teamwork among colleagues.
- Certification in Massage Therapy from an accredited program.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Massage Therapist, preferably in a clinical or sports medicine setting.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and biomechanics, with the ability to apply this knowledge effectively in the assessment and treatment of clients.
- Proficiency in a variety of massage therapy techniques, including but not limited to Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, myofascial release, trigger point therapy, and sports massage.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to establish rapport with clients, collaborate effectively with colleagues, and provide clear and concise instructions to clients.
- Dedication to providing exceptional care and support to clients throughout their treatment journey, with a focus on achieving optimal outcomes and improving quality of life.
- Demonstrated commitment to professional growth and development, including participation in continuing education and pursuit of advanced certifications or specialized training.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team, with flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and caseloads.
