Our client, a well-established financial advisory practice, is seeking a licensed Associate Financial Advisor to support their growing client base! With the support of the newest technology and a strong team, the Associate Financial Advisor will play an instrumental role in creating and delivering unique client experiences to help them achieve their financial goals.This position will operate onsite on the west side of Madison, with regular in-person office hours Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. Salary is $100,000 or more per year based on experience and a competitive benefits package is offered.Responsibilities:Identify clients to engage or re-engage in planning relationshipsPerform case analysis, develop recommendations, and create planning deliverablesPrepare for and lead client meetings, present recommendationsCommunicate regularly with clients according to agreed-upon actions; maintain accurate client recordsMonitor economy, markets, and world events to determine strategic rebalancingAssess risk tolerance, goals, and timeframe to make recommendationsDevelop product deliverables and persuade clients to act upon adviceExecute trades to align with proposed portfolio, conduct transactions on behalf of clientsActively participate in team meetings, training, and quality improvementsQualifications:Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance or related OR equivalent experience2+ years of experience in a Financial Advisor role or similar, with 1:1 client meeting experience requiredStrong written and verbal communication skillsDemonstrated analytical and problem-solving skillsPositive attitude with willingness to learn, comfortable in small-team dynamic/atmosphereNote-*Securities license required (including SIE, Series 7 and Series 66), as well as Wisconsin insuranceAt Ameriprise Financial, we’re not just in the business of helping clients with their financial goals – we also help our advisors and employees reach their true potential by embracing an inclusive and collaborative culture.
