A respected litigation firm with a strong presence in the Pacific Northwest is seeking an experienced Paralegal to join its dynamic team. The firm represents clients in complex disputes across state and federal courts, offering a collaborative environment and opportunities for professional growth.Why This Role Matters
As a Litigation Paralegal, you will play a key role in ensuring cases run smoothly from inception through trial. You’ll provide critical support to attorneys, manage case materials, and contribute to the success of high-stakes litigation.What You’ll Do
- Act as liaison among attorneys, courts, clients, and outside parties.
- Review, organize, and maintain case materials and files.
- Conduct case-related legal research.
- Draft pleadings, subpoenas, discovery requests/responses, interrogatories, and correspondence.
- Coordinate collection, review, and production of discovery.
- Assist in deposition preparation, pre-trial investigations, and witness preparation.
- Support trial preparation including exhibits, witness binders, and demonstrative evidence.
- Manage calendaring and scheduling for depositions, hearings, mediations, and related proceedings.
- Associate’s Degree or Certificate in Paralegal Studies (preferred).
- 5+ years of litigation paralegal experience.
- Familiarity with Washington, Oregon, and Federal court procedures and filings.
- First Party Property Insurance or other insurance litigation experience a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal document/client management systems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
- Competitive compensation $75 k - $100K (salary commensurate with experience).
