PAY RATE: $80/hourWe are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.Job Details:Job Type: Contract (12 months with potential for extension)Clearance: Ability to obtain secret clearanceIndustry: Aerospace / Defense / AviationBenefits: Medical, dental, and vision (Cigna)Perks: Bonus potential + Priority access via Tier 1 supplierOpenings Nationwide: Thousands of opportunities across the U.S.Qualifying Questions:Are you a U.S. person as defined under ITAR regulations?Do you meet the educational and experience requirements for this role?Can you commute to the job location or relocate if necessary?Summary:Act as subject matter expert across aerospace vehicle systems.Collaborate with design, quality, supply chain, EH&S, and production operations.Provide producibility inputs to optimize engineering requirements and reduce build complexity.Develop 3D manufacturing simulations (clash detection, task sequencing, assembly efficiency).Review designs for manufacturability and provide cost/performance improvement feedback.Create Manufacturing Engineering Statement of Work requirements.Full-time onsite role, with occasional travel, extended hours, or weekend support.Requirements:Ability to obtain secret clearance8+ years supporting aerospace vehicle systems in production environments.8+ years in production operations and/or engineering.5+ years CAD experience (CATIA V4/5, 3DX preferred).Experience in manufacturing engineering roles supporting program startups and production.Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).Desired Skills:A&P Certificate.Project management experience.Confluence/JIRA familiarity.Root Cause & Corrective Action, FMEA experience.Proven ability to set up production work cells and facility layouts.Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills.Ability to present technical info clearly to diverse audiences.Active DoD Clearance (within last 5 years) and eligibility for special program access.About Us:The Structures Company is a premier national aerospace and defense staffing agency specializing in contract, contract-to-hire, and direct hire placements.
