Recovery Coach (Integrated Outpatient – Community Based Family Services)

- Client Engagement and Support: Meet with clients, explain the project, and enroll them in recovery support services if they agree. Build strong relationships by understanding their strengths, needs, and barriers to treatment. Provide pre-treatment engagement in the client’s home as needed.
- Community Collaboration: Partner with local organizations like One Hope United and Bethany Social Services to connect clients with behavioral health and primary care treatment services.
- Active Linkage and Advocacy: Connect clients to recovery communities and support services, organize sobriety-based activities, provide transportation, and advocate on their behalf to ensure they receive necessary services.
- Ongoing Monitoring and Education: Help clients overcome barriers to recovery through continuous support, monitoring, and appropriate recovery education. Encourage clients to take control of their recovery using appropriate recovery language and tools.
- Service Coordination: Work with caseworkers, treatment teams, and community partners to ensure continuous and coordinated care for clients.
- Documentation and Compliance: Complete all required documentation and data entry promptly, adhering to program and agency policies. Ensure confidentiality of all client and organizational information.
- Team Participation and Professional Development: Attend all assigned meetings and trainings. Support team members and engage in professional development to achieve or maintain relevant certifications.
- Customer Service Excellence: Promote a culture of customer service excellence within the organization.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Preferred experience in recovery and/or engagement in a recovery network, mental health, substance use, or other social/human services but not required.
- Valid driver’s license, private automobile insurance, and must be insurable.
- Basic computer skills, including videoconferencing, Microsoft Word, Outlook, and electronic medical records (EMR).
