Performs duties in support of and in compliance with the performance improvement plan, Joint Commission and other licensing, accrediting and regulatory agencies. Provides all clerical services for a nursing unit including guest relations for families, visitors, and hospital personnel.
QualificationsRequirements:
  • Current BLS (AHA)
  • Hospital/medical terminology experience.
  • Computer literacy required.
  • Able to interpret dysrhythmias on the cardiac monitor.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent technical training.
  • Must pass pre-hire dysrhythmia test.
Preferred Skills:
  • Acute care is preferred.
Special Skills:
  • Must pass annual dysrhythmias test.
  • Ability to have a courteous and professional manner in regard to accomplishing responsibilities.
  • Ability to act with self-direction and able to take initiative.
  • Ability to problem solve.
  • Willingness to work with all staff members toward unit goals.
  • Must have the ability to read write and speak English.
