This role involves working closely with project managers, estimators, and field teams to ensure all designs meet project specifications, client expectations, and industry standards.Key Responsibilities:Design mechanical systems for commercial and industrial projects, including K-12, higher education, healthcare, food processing, retail, and grocery facilities.Perform load calculations, ductwork and piping design, and equipment selection to enhance system efficiency.Develop and review technical drawings and specifications in collaboration with CAD teams.Ensure compliance with mechanical codes, energy efficiency standards, and industry regulations.Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients to create high-quality design solutions.Provide technical expertise to support estimating, project planning, and field installation teams.Research and implement energy-efficient and emerging technologies in mechanical design.
