As a Lead Java Developer, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and maintenance of Java-based applications. You will lead a team of developers, ensuring the delivery of high-quality software solutions. Your role will involve designing, coding, testing, and deploying applications, as well as mentoring junior developers and collaborating with cross-functional teams.Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, development, and deployment of Java-based applications.
- Oversee and mentor a team of Java developers, providing guidance and support.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to define project requirements and specifications.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies.
- Ensure the scalability, performance, and security of applications.
- Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to technical decision-making.
- Proven experience as a Java Developer, with a strong background in software development.
- Extensive experience with Java and related frameworks (e.g., Spring, Hibernate).
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
- Experience with RESTful APIs and web services.
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL).
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience with front-end technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
- Knowledge of microservices architecture.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
- Understanding of Agile methodologies.
