  • Set up new and repeat jobs in a variety of vertical and horizontal milling machines.
  • Measure, examine and test parts using CMM, optical comparator and hand tools to ensure conformance to specifications.
  • Complete all required shop paperwork accurately and neatly.
  • Read and interpret complex drawings and specifications.
  • Gather and assemble tools, holders and fixturing.
  • Evaluate repeat jobs for opportunities to improve processes and reduce waste.
  • Partner with Engineering, Quality and Management on department and shop initiatives.
  • Cleans and maintains machines tools to ensure all equipment stays in good working order.

Train and mentor new and developing employees to ensure team and department success.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • High School Education
  • 5-10 years related manufacturing experience
  • Must be detail oriented
  • Able to manage multiple priorities
  • Possesses some computer skills and is able to learn new skills as needed
  • Must be comfortable using a variety of tools and inspection methods to ensure product quality.
  • General knowledge of Records Control, Statistical Tools, ISO Awareness, Safety, Right to Know and Employee Handbook.
  • Working knowledge of Document Control, Customer Prod/Equip, Product ID, Process Control, Inspection, Calibration, Inspection Status.
