We are currently seeking a Project Coordinator for our Pre-Construction Division that will support work in the Americas.What you’ll do:
  • Support project management team on projects that are in the pre-construction phase of development
  • Serve as the shared responsible party for the coordination and tracking of all project-related activities from post-Sale through Permitting and Utility Interconnection approval
  • Support the development of EPC agreements
  • Assist in the effective management of customer experience and interaction
  • Initiate and manage the application for customer permits and utility interconnection
  • Develop skills to assist in project cost management; assist with managing change orders and tracking budget versus actuals
  • Initiate, prepare, process and review requests for information as required by the project
  • Manage project documentation including cataloging photos, construction documents, project notes, equipment specifications and other relevant project information
  • Troubleshoot project issues as they arise; evaluate alternatives and propose solutions.
  • Communicate project status, risks, and opportunities to Project Manager and Management team
  • Assist in the coordination of permitting and utility interconnection applications and agreements
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
What you’ll bring:
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or construction management is preferred; or 3+ years equivalent experience as a Project Coordinator for a commercial solar construction company
  • 3+ years of experience with performing day-to-day project coordination duties, maintaining project schedules and managing project activities across multiple departments and functions
  • 3+ years of utilizing construction software or other related software to manage budgets, schedules & project documentation
  • 3+ years of experience with supporting subcontractor relations including: scheduling, subcontract management, communications, job reporting and compliance
  • Highly motivated, adaptable, detail-oriented, flexible, and able to work both with a team and independently.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent ability to multi-task and problem-solve.
  • Excellent written and communication skills.
Physical Demands:
  • Sit or stand at a desk for 6-8 hours per day performing tasks on a computer
  • Requires minimal physical effort with periods of walking and standing with light lifting of files
  • Minimal bending, stooping, or reaching
  • Occasionally exposure to environmental elements during remote visits
