- Develop processes for new product introduction
- Responsible for launching new projects (including obtaining funds, obtaining approval from upper management, and project management from project start until mass production launch)
- Develop machine specifications, select machine supplier, conduct design reviews, conduct machine acceptance tests, and procure new equipment
- Interact & assist with programming various DENSO systems including PLC logic, control systems, robots, cobots and vision systems.
- Create documentation including PFMEA, Process Control Sheets, Process Flows, instructional documents, government forms, etc.
- General production engineering tasks upon request (including providing line support to final assembly lines, line layout introduction/optimization, time studies, cost analysis, capability studies, defect root cause analysis and countermeasure development, ROI studies, & cost reduction activities)
- Ensure quality for products through the development of hardware and software on various types of automated inspection equipment.
- Design various hardware including automated tester, fixture interface, bare board fixtures, etc. that will be designed from inspection specifications.
- Utilize various software languages including C, C++, Delphi, LabView, TestExec, JAST, etc.
- Responsible for new product preparation, production line support, localization of fixtures, localization of test systems, and numerous other tasks.
- Support problem investigation for both internal customers & suppliers
- Support supplier selection, development, and systems management
- Provide engineering support to inspection departments
- Develop detailed test plans to evaluate new suppliers, parts, materials, and assemblies
- Understand, document, and improve supplier processes
- Develop detailed test plans to evaluate new model activity and engineering changes

- Participate & lead in various continuous improvement (kaizen project) designed to help achieving business targets in both planned and urgent scenarios throughout DENSO.
- Responsible for project management of functional activities related to the Toyota Production System (TPS) and Operations Excellence activities.
- Promote, facilitate, and coach TPS concepts for DENSO skill development.
- Participate & lead in various problem-solving activities at multiple DENSO sites performance.
- Requires ability to quickly access current condition, set strategy, organize resources and make action for immediate improvement utilizing Industrial Engineering concepts and tools.
- Requires strong people and process management skills, the ability to develop good relationships, facilitation of effective communication between departments, capture / understand key data, and ability to adapt to changes in work environment.
- Requires strong understanding of TPS principles and system applications throughout the supply chain.
- Manage SQL Server databases through multiple product lifecycle environments, from development to mission-critical production systems.
- Database security management and oversight
- Configure and maintain database servers and processes, including monitoring of system health and performance, to ensure high levels of performance, availability, and security.
- Apply data modeling techniques to ensure development and implementation support efforts meet integration and performance expectations
- Independently analyze, solve, and correct issues in real time, providing problem resolution end-to-end.
- Refine and automate regular processes, track issues, and document changes
- Assist developers with complex query tuning and schema refinement.
- Provide 24x7 support for critical production systems.
- Perform scheduled maintenance and support release deployment activities after hours.
- Share domain and technical expertise, providing technical mentorship and cross-training to other peers
- Plan, develop, test and maintain production software applications at DENSO manufacturing facilities.
- Test and implement configuration changes and assist in the design of software applications to meet both functional and technical requirements.
- Support the technical design process by participating in the analysis of technical application requirements
- Assist in implementing analyses that will identify requirements related to people, processes and technology
