Project Accountant/Billing Specialist

- Work with Team Leaders and Project Managers in a variety of disciplines
- Monitor project budgets, expenses, and revenue
- Prepare and send invoices for 200-300 projects monthly
- Project contract review and maintenance
- Adhere to department and client guidelines
- Clear and timely communication with clients when needed
- Collections for aging accounts receivables
- Archiving all communications and documents
- Special accounting project as requested
- Bachelor's Degree with Major in Accounting, Finance, or General Business or 10+ years of experience
- FDOT billing experience, preferred
- Ability to multi-task by supporting multiple teams in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment
- Customer-Service oriented
- High degree of professionalism and strong people skills
- Excellent team player
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Experience using computerized accounting systems; knowledge of accounting system related to professional services (Deltek Vantagepoint), a plus
- Experience working in a billable hours environment, a plus
