We are looking for a Line Cook Intern to assist our Culinary team on a day to day basis. This intern will be will be responsible for assisting in the kitchen set up, producing high quality culinary products consistently, working closely with other kitchen personnel, assisting with the service of the Arthrex Employee Lunch, and taking direction from the Lead Line Cook, Banquet Chef, and Chef of the assigned kitchen. This intern must have passionate enthusiasm for food and the ingredients necessary to produce exceptional dishes. Thsi intern must possess the ability to create, execute, and manage in all areas of kitchen production. In addition to high volume production, potential candidate will be needed to work in various a la cart scenarios.This internship will run from May 2024 - August 2024. The ideal candidate will have the availability to work 40 hours per week at our Naples, FL facility.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Assist with Soup Production.
  • Assist with Salad Bar Production.
  • Work on Banquets.
  • Assist with Daily Sandwich Production.
  • Work with Lead Line Cook to produce Main Entree.
  • Help with the Overall Organization and cleanliness of the facility.
  • This is an in-office position located in Naples, FL; it is not a remote position.
Education and Experience:Progress towards a college degree in a related field required, preferably in Culinary Arts or Hotel Restaurant Hospitality. (Students who have recently graduated are only eligible to work as an intern/co-op up to six months from their graduation date.)Knowledge and Skill Requirements/Specialized Courses and/or Training:
  • Commerical Kitchen experince preferred.
  • 1 year of Culinary School preferred.
  • Good knife skills and basic kitchen terminology preferred.
  • Basic to intermediate computer skills.
  • Be able to follow written and verbal direction.
Machine, Tools, and/or Equipment Skills:PC; Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook; PowerPoint; Word and Excel. Fax; Scanner.Arthrex 2024 Benefits are:
