Supervisor Campus Safety

- Lead and supervise daily patrol operations and field activities
- Review incident reports and ensure accurate documentation
- Prepare shift assignments, briefings, and communications
- Enforce applicable laws and school policies
- Conduct and support investigations and incident reporting
- Coordinate and deliver officer training programs
- Manage foot, vehicle, and bicycle patrol strategies
- Plan and oversee safety operations for campus events
- Maintain security vehicles and equipment readiness
- Represent the Director of Campus Safety during absences
Location: On-site in Hershey, PA
Work schedule: Monday – Tuesday 1:00 pm – 11 pm & Thursday – Friday 7:00 am – 5:00 pm
Compensation: Commensurate with experience + comprehensive benefits packageQualifications· Bachelor’s degree required; alternatively, 8 years of law enforcement/security experience with 3+ years in a supervisory role· SRO (School Resource Officer certification or the ability to obtain within 3 months)· Valid PA driver’s license with excellent driving record· First Aid, CPR, and AED certification (or ability to obtain within 60 days)· Concealed Carry Permit from county of residence· PA Act 235 certification (or ability to obtain within 3 months)· Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local laws· Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills· High attention to detail and strong written/verbal communication· Public speaking and collaborative communication abilities· Proven ability to develop policies and implement improvements· Sound judgment in emergency situations· Strong organizational and multitasking skills· Proficiency with security technology (e.g., Microsoft Office, radios, cameras, access systems)· Experience working with youth and underserved populations is a plusWhy Join MHS?At Milton Hershey School, every staff member is a role model.
