Responsibilities involve designing and executing tests to validate integrated systems' interoperability, functionality, and performance. The position collaborates closely with the development team, product managers, and other stakeholders to identify integration points, define testing strategies, and troubleshoot issues to deliver high-quality integrated solutions.Primary Duties and Responsibilities:To perform this position successfully, an individual must fulfill the knowledge, skill, and/or ability requirements listed below. * Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases to validate the integration of software components and systems.
  • Execute test cases manually and/or automate test scripts to validate the functionality, compatibility, and performance of integrated systems.
  • Identify and document integration points, dependencies, and data flow between systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand integration requirements and define testing strategies.
  • Perform regression testing to ensure that integration changes do not adversely impact existing functionality.
  • Investigate and troubleshoot issues reported during integration testing, working closely with development teams to resolve them.
  • Monitor integration processes and performance metrics to identify areas for optimization and improvement.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices, tools, and technologies related to integration testing.
  • Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and other team activities to contribute to the overall quality of software products.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to provide status updates, report issues, and collaborate on solutions.

  • Strong understanding of software integration concepts, protocols, and techniques.
  • Excellent focus and strong attention to detail to ensure thorough testing and accurate defect reporting.
  • Self-directed with the ability to work with minimal supervision and meet goals.
  • Effective communication skills, both oral and written, to communicate with team members and stakeholders on issues.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Experience with working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
Preferred Education Requirements:
  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in computer science, a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Certifications in software testing (e.g., ISTQB).
Preferred Experience:
  • 2-3 years testing with a focus on integration.
  • Experience with test automation tools/frameworks such as Selenium, Appium, or similar.
  • Proficiency in programming/scripting languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git), continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, and agile development methodologies.
  • Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner) is a plus.
