  • Develop new department reporting as it relates to KPIs, SLAs and other cost drivers that impact spend
  • Research Chargebacks received from Retailers and identify opportunities to dispute said charges
  • Identify chargebacks that can be issued to our Inbound vendors and enter into the Traverse system
  • Implement Track and Trace program for Inbound vendors and POOL Line-haul shipments to ensure carrier compliance and service expectations
  • Assist in the data entry of discrepancies related to our store deliveries for the Pool program
  • Freight claims management related to Inbound and POOL vendors (filing and tracking)
  • Recommend and implement new processes to facilitate greater efficiencies within the department
  • Attending departmental meetings in order to learn / absorb the inner workings of the function
  • Other projects and responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree
  • Strong analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, project management (from conception to completion), & planning skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills (including analysis, interpretation, & reasoning)
  • Ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with peers and colleagues across the organization, as well as, internal and external clients
  • Ability to work well autonomously and within a team in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment.
  • Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines and reporting
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
  • Ability to read, write, and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
  • Ability to work overtime as necessary
