- Lead the design and architecture of complex OCC implementations to meet client needs for scalability, performance, and security.
- Provide strategic technical guidance across all phases of the project lifecycle—including discovery, solutioning, implementation, and delivery.
- Architect and build component-based solutions that support future scalability, extensibility, and reusability.
- Act as the technical point of contact for internal teams, clients, and partners throughout project delivery.
- Review code and provide guidance to developers, ensuring adherence to best practices and architecture principles.
- Write and clearly articulate technical approaches to guide delivery and ensure alignment with architectural vision.
- Design and implement integrations between OCC and enterprise systems such as ERP, CRM, PIM, OMS, and marketing platforms.
- Ensure API-based integrations align with client infrastructure and performance needs.
- Partner with business stakeholders, project managers, and delivery leads to align technical solutions with project timelines and objectives.
- Lead external-facing workshops, solution presentations, and stakeholder discussions to ensure business alignment and technical clarity.
- Provide technical presentations and documentation for stakeholders and executive sponsors.
- Stay up to date with Oracle roadmap updates, commerce trends, and emerging technologies.
- Recommend innovative approaches, tools, and processes to enhance implementation efficiency and performance.
- 7+ years of experience in eCommerce architecture and development, with at least 3+ years specific to Oracle Commerce Cloud (OCC).
- Familiarity with Oracle Storefront Framework (OSF).
- Strong proficiency with JavaScript, Node.js, REST APIs, and microservices-based architectures.
- Experience integrating OCC with enterprise systems (ERP, CRM, PIM, OMS, etc.).
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), CI/CD pipelines, and IaC tools such as Terraform.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; Master’s degree a plus.
- Oracle Commerce Cloud certifications.
- Experience in headless commerce architecture and front-end frameworks such as React or Angular.
- Exposure to Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) or other Adobe Experience Cloud products.
- Prior experience in a consultancy or digital agency environment.
