- Developing and implementing quality plans and procedures to ensure conformance to company and regulatory standards
- Analyzing and reporting on quality-related data/metrics from production, service, supplier or process improvement activities using statistical techniques
- Interfacing with manufacturing, engineering, customer, vendor and subcontractor representatives to ensure process requirements are met
- Supporting the development of disposition and corrective actions for recurring product/process discrepancies
- Managing the quality records control process to assure adequate accountability and traceability
- Must possess a strong foundation in inspection techniques and skills
- Familiarity with inspection tools and equipment, such as calipers, micrometers, and optical comparators
- Knowledge of inspection methods and procedures, including visual, dimensional, and functional inspections
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and other technical documentsDesired skills- Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline
- ASQ certification
- Working knowledge of continuous improvement
- Comfortable with multi-tasking and managing multiple responsibilities on a daily basis
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision and accuracy
- Strong communication skills (both oral and written)
